Travel Trailer Supports Electrial Wiring Help...whats The Difference In 10/2 And 10/3 AWG?

Electrial wiring help...whats the difference in 10/2 and 10/3 AWG? - travel trailer supports

I am currently a problem with my camper trailer. I've been running a 1500-watt heater to warm during the night and today I realized to keep the power cord and power converters had to be slightly melted. The motorhome is the configuration of 125V at 30 amps, is connected to the speed of an adapter and an extension cord heavy landing, 125V adapter is rated at 15 amps. So to solve this problem, I want to plug in warmer and I look forward to a single cable for direct connection of container on the trailer, to the 125 V and 30 A is the fusion ... I currently have a 60-amp circuit breaker and need to find the cord that I do not. I know I need a AWG 10 / 2, a minimum of 30 amps can support the towing of trailers. My question is: What is the difference in the 10 / 2 and 10 / 3? The cap says a lot about the possibility of maintaining 10 / 4

10 / 3 is for 30 amps 240 volts Cir. with a neutral
10 / 2 is 30 amps 120 volts Cir.
or 10 / 3, two Hots and neutral / GND
10 / 2 1 Heat 1 Neutral / GND
Standard sheet noted that 15 amps, such as lace caps, can take 20 amps over standard of care for home. and a higher score on the spin locks
10 / 4 to 3 phase 30Amp would be forgotten.

1500 watts / 120 = 12.5 amperes to 20 amperes and a lid container (sheet) and # 10 / 2 should be fined up to 150 or a little longer before releasing the line is larger because of the draw.

Love
the only difference between the cables, is the son of the amount of lead inside the cable. (10 / 3, which is thicker)
They are the same thickness, but 10 / 2 into the interior:
Son 3: white, black, floor (one 125V power between white and black) can
to 10 / 3, even thread, so you can run the bay of the cable 2 independent 125V, and 240 between red and black. Big supporters, especially with 2 air cond. 2 125V require federal Happy Camping

10-2 with 2 cables plate and work out a bare ground wire 120 or 240 may be replaced by them
10.3 Shield with 3 wires and a bare soil can 240 with a neutral to make it work in both 120 and 240 run
10 GA wire 30A is easy to run a long race for Arent

not sure there are many types of 10 / 4 taken
Here is a site that is the types of connectors and cable size to use lists and the voltage used with each.

Most cables have a double numbering, the first the AWG (wire gauge), and the second is the number of the son, ie, 10 / 4 son is 10 caliber with 4 drivers. Some even say 10 / 3 wG
It is 10 gauge, 3 wires and a connection to the earth

probably what you need is a 30Amp circuit running directly from your breaker box. Campers taken at 30 amps.
It is best to hire a electrician to wire for you.
It is much cheaper in the long run!
People who know not to play with the wiring, what they are doing is very dangerous.

That's what my husband says to use 10 / 2 by 10 / 3 requires additional wires usual.

The difference lies in the shielding.
The 10 is the measuring instrument. The second / # 's is the kind of armor.
