MTV purchased and its sister site AfterEllen.com, AfterElton.com. They were sites of independent class gay presence in the media. MTV has also acquired 365gay.com, the gay news web portal. These were gay my favorite places, and now owns MTV? How can we trust these sites now? MTV has probably the largest chain of gay-oriented television to the logo. Are we losing our independent voices for those who want to press the bank's gay? What does this mean for homosexuals in the media as MTV's most popular gay media?

Since MTV has bought only means that they will now quickly go downhill, leading to bigger and better new (independent) than others.
